Scott Vignola, born 1969 in Bronx, NY, has been a workhorse and successful business owner for the past thirty years.

With an intense drive to join the workforce at a young age, Vignola became a Union Carpenter upon graduation from high school in 1987. He perfected his craft for four years at Bandow Construction, Inc. (NYC), where he was quickly promoted to foreman, and eventually manager. Here, in addition to obtaining experience in the workforce, he also learned the ins and outs of business ownership and administration.

In 1991, Vignola relocated to Richmond Virginia to pursue his first business venture as owner and operator of King Lube, a 10-min oil change and auto detailing salon. He successfully built up his clientele, developed a close network of vendors, and created a lucrative company from the ground up over a period of six years. In 1997, Vignola sold King Lube as an established and profitable entity.

Vignola returned to his hometown in 1997 to find his next business venture with his brother as partner. Together they created Add-Ventures Restorations, Inc., a full-scale construction, maintenance, and building service company specifically servicing condominium and townhome communities within the county. The company was created with one employee in one truck performing residential power washing services and has since grown exponentially – now housing over thirty team members, utilizing a fleet of trucks, and tackling million dollar building service projects throughout the tri-state area. Going on its 19th year in business, the company continues to flourish with both brothers as founders and still current owners of the business to date.

Add-Ventures being a “well-oiled machine” for the past ten years has allowed Vignola time to pursue personal goals parallel to his business career. A true firearms aficionado, Scott has undergone extensive handling and self-protection training, as well as having obtained certifications in firearms safety instruction and coaching. Securing his first pistol permit in 1991, he is now licensed to carry in 42 states with additional applications in progress. He has acquired his Federal Firearms License (FFL), which would allow inter and intrastate sales of firearms and ammunition, with the ultimate goal of continuing to establish and operate a successful family-friendly shooting range consisting of both classroom and hands-on training. The importance of firearms education, including one-on-one and group instruction on how to safely handle firearms, is key to this prospective company and paramount to Vignola as a potential range owner and instructor. Vignola’s list of certifications and course completions include the following, and continues to grow rapidly:

Scott successfully owned and operated the largest indoor range in Rockland County, Rockland Indoor Shooting and Education from 2016-2021. RISE was a full-time indoor range, education center and gun store. Unfortunately, a major fire at Dunkin Donuts above his facility closed his business on November 21, 2021. He has since reopened a small firearms store in Suffern, NY and has been running that business with his wife. She runs the store while he handles all gunsmithing and offsite LEO and Civilian training.
